Mode Search is supporting a contemporary fashion brand in their search for a Sales Director of Womenswear EMEA.
This ready-to wear brand's understated style of beautifully crafted essentials made from quality materials maintains its commitment to timelessly classic pieces.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and successfully executing of key growth sales strategies and action plans.
The Role:
* Plan and forecast seasonal budgets, ensuring sales targets are achieved across the team
* Build and strengthen relationships with buyer managers while identifying and securing new strategic retail opportunities each season
* Lead market activities in London and Paris, ensuring open-to-buy (OTB) budgets are met for each client
* Identify and develop new business opportunities, continuously seeking innovative ways to drive growth
* Stay informed on market trends and competitive activity, sharing insights with the wider team
* Negotiate and execute commercial initiatives, including pop-ups, training sessions, sales incentives, visual merchandising support, and collaborations with the marketing team
* Conduct weekly business analysis, tracking sales performance and reporting trade updates for key accounts
Requirements:
* At least ten years of experience in wholesale, including previous team management
* Strong understanding of key clients and market dynamics in the region
* Sales-driven mindset with strong negotiation skills
* Proven experience leading and managing a team within womenswear
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
