SEN Teaching Assistant - ASAP

Teach Plus are currently working with a 'Good' school in Enfield, who are looking for an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join their team.
The primary school has designed an aspirational curriculum that goes beyond the expectations of the national curriculum in every subject.
The primary school believes that all students are capable of achieving greatness and expectations of all pupils, including those with SEND, are exceptionally high.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be required to:
1. Follow the class teacher and SENCO's direction in supporting the child both inside and outside the classroom.
2. Work on a permanent contract providing support for pupils either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups under the direction of the Head of Learning Support.
3. Work with children who have SEND & SEMH needs.
4. Ensure the child feels supported and safe by having a warm and nurturing approach.
The ideal candidate for this SEN teaching assistant role will have:
1. Experience working with children with SEND.
2. Ideally experience working with SEN children on a 1:1 basis.
3. The ability to build rapport with the child and be able to respond to the child's individual needs.
4. Experience delivering lessons tailored to children's needs as outlined in their individual education plan.
