Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to come and join us in the role of Clinical and Team Lead Home Enteral Feeding Dietitian.
We are ideally looking for an individual with experience of leading a home enteral feeding team; however, we would welcome applications from current home enteral feeding dietitians who want to enhance their skills in leadership and service development.
The Home Enteral Feeding Team provides dietetic care to tube-fed adults and children across Southern Derbyshire. The team comprises 2.0 WTE band 6 dietitians, 1.6 WTE Band 4 Assistant Practitioners, and admin support staff.
The role is currently based at the Royal Derby Hospital; however, a move to Florence Nightingale Community Hospital is being considered in the near future.

Main duties of the job
Our Home Enteral Feeding Team delivers high-quality care to tube-fed adults and children across Southern Derbyshire. We offer a variety of patient contact including face-to-face clinics, telephone clinics, home visits, nursing home, and school visits. We work closely with a wide multidisciplinary team including Nutrition Nurses, children's community nurses, consultants, GPs, Speech and Language Therapists, and carers.
You will lead the delivery of a comprehensive and effective evidence-based dietetic service and be responsible for service development. You will be fully supported by the Dietetic Operational Leads.
We have an established student training programme for A, B, and C placements, in which you will participate, and the department encourages innovation, CPD, and professional development.
Key Requirements of the Role:
* Demonstrable experience working as a specialist home enteral feeding dietitian. Both adult and paediatric experience would be preferred but not essential.
* Previous experience of service development.
* Leadership experience, or a keen interest to develop leadership skills.
