Job Title: Complex Children's Support Worker
Pay Rate: £11.60 - £15.00 per hour
Job Type: Part time
Shifts: 7-9am & 4-8pm Monday to Friday and full days on weekends
The Care Collection are a multi award-winning home care provider with a minimum of 1 hour care calls to individuals of all ages. We have some amazing young clients who are looking for active and bubbly carers to join their teams. They enjoy spending time doing activities and getting out and about.
Our Childrens services are predominately weekend based hours during term time but their are some weekday hours available which are subject to change in the school holidays. Previous experience preferred but full training and ongoing support will be given.
Responsibilities of the Children's Support Worker to include but not limited to:
· Taking notes for others to review
· Observing and reporting any changes in the health of clients
· Taking clients out for activities
· Prompting medication
· Provide social stimulation and engagement
· Provide personal care and additional specific care requirements
· Support with transfers
Requirements:
· Committed, caring and compassionate with a clear desire to support others
· Enthusiastic and positive ‘can do’ attitude
· Ability to work weekends (some week day hours available too)
· Previous experience working with children is essential
· Full drivers’ licence and access to your own vehicle
