Who You Are You are an experienced Children's Social Worker skilled in various child and family assessments, including Child and Family Assessments, Parenting, and Sibling assessments. You are adept at handling diverse cases such as Child in Need, Child Protection, Child in Care, and legal proceedings in both Public and Private Law. Ideally, you have experience conducting Joint/Single Agency Children Act 1989 Section 47. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a working knowledge of Signs of Safety, ensure you can operate effectively. What the Job Involves The job involves leading multi-agency plans to support children and families. You'll be responsible for carrying out a weekly duty on a 4-week rotation, requiring office presence for all five days during the duty week. The other three weeks offer flexible work/home arrangements, with three office days and two work-from-home days. Supported by a permanent Practice Supervisor, you will manage case decisions independently. Your role demands direct engagement with multidisciplinary teams and contribution to the well-being of children and families across various legal and care proceedings, maintaining a balance of office and home-based work.
