What's my mission? Working as a Security Service Engineer, you will be undertaking a variety of tasks relating to the planning, implementation, testing & inspection, and maintaining of our customer security systems, this will will include site access, CCTV, security, and may involve some voice & data network cabling. No one day will be the same, but some of the main duties will be: Survey, design, implementation and testing of security systems while observing all statutory and legal requirements. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with fire alarm systems. Provide technical support to customers as needed. Keep accurate records of all work completed. Installing Access Control using Paxton systems. Installation and maintenance of data network and Wifi infrastructures, CCTV, and door access control systems. Liaise with our Service Delivery team to ensure that customer requirements are fulfilled. Who/What will I be working with? As you will be working within a team environment and speaking to customers daily, then your communication and customer service skills must be very strong. A good work ethic and level of professionalism and a desire to develop your skills will also be required. You will pride yourself in delivering outstanding customer service and developing long term business relationships with all of our customers. Full training will be given, but ideally you will have: You will have at least 1 years’ experience working within a similar field You will ideally have a mix of experience working within Industrial, Domestic and Commercial settings You will have a full UK Driving Licence, with no more than 6 points on your license. You will be happy working away from home for short period of time, as and when the work requires.
