Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee their payroll operations across the UK.
Responsibilities:
As a Payroll Manager you will be responsible for –
* Oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process for (Apply online only) employees, including salaried and hourly paid staff.
* Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, meeting all monthly and weekly deadlines.
* Handle complex payroll calculations, including pensions, bonuses, and statutory deductions (e.g., PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP).
* Prepare and submit RTI (Real Time Information) filings to HMRC, ensuring full compliance with UK payroll legislation and HMRC regulations.
* Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare detailed reports for management and auditors.
* Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and improve payroll processes, adopting best practices.
Requirements:
As a Payroll Manager you will need -
* Demonstrated experience in payroll management, ideally within a multi-site or large organisation.
* In-depth knowledge of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, NIC, pensions, and statutory payments.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
