Role Overview:
As a Design and Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that foster creativity and practical problem-solving skills. You'll have the chance to create and plan lessons up to GCSE level, mark student work, and collaborate with fellow teachers to offer a rich and diverse curriculum.
Salary:
£155 - £260 per day (PAYE), depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Design and Technology to students up to GCSE level.
2. Provide constructive feedback on student work and help them improve.
3. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall curriculum.
4. Encourage hands-on, practical projects that support creativity and critical thinking.
5. Get involved with extracurricular activities and events within the school community.
What We're Looking For:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Solid subject knowledge in Design and Technology.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. A passion for inspiring and motivating students.
5. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
