Job Title: Quality Manager - Lincoln Plant
As Quality Manager for our Lincoln plant, you will ensure that plant operations adhere to quality procedures and optimize the utilization of manpower, equipment, and raw materials.
You will have complete ownership of the Quality Management System, maintaining its effectiveness and ensuring it meets business requirements. Additionally, you will train employees on its usage and ensure compliance.
You will lead the site audit schedule for both internal and external stakeholders, and be responsible for maintaining operating costs within the current budget in relation to sales.
Providing timely investigation and reporting of key quality indicators as per corporate standards is essential. Achieving performance improvements, such as reducing the cost of quality to less than 1% of plant sales, is a key objective.
You will drive improvements in customer satisfaction and support investigations and incident reports related to health, safety, and quality. Adopting lean and OpX principles to attain and sustain a gold standard laboratory environment is required.
Managing a team of Quality Engineers, Inspectors, and Laboratory Technicians, you will develop succession plans and champion personal development.
Candidate Profile: What Makes You Great
* Degree or equivalent with prior experience in a quality engineering environment.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
* Proven people management skills and experience.
* Calm, patient, persuasive, with the ability to handle conflicts and prioritize effectively.
* Knowledge of regulatory standards and customer quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, NADCAP (desirable).
* High engagement, drive, initiative, and the ability to work in demanding environments.
