As an Asset Management Analyst, you’ll turn complex data into clear insights that help shape our asset management strategies. You’ll analyse data, spot trends, and support decisions that keep our infrastructure running efficiently. You'll join our Asset Performance team, reporting to the Asset Performance Manager. You’ll work closely with other departments, data teams, and other stakeholders to improve how we collect, use, and visualise asset data. What will you be accountable for? Analysing data to identify trends, risks, and improvements. Building models to predict how infrastructure assets will perform and how long they will last. Using data to support decisions about investments and maintenance across our water network. Creating reports and dashboards to explain complex data to others. Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to solve asset performance problems. Continuously improving asset management processes and data analysis. Developing new ways to assess and track asset performance. What do you bring to the role? Must Haves Skilled in with database languages (e.g. SQL, VBA, Python) and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau). Strong analytical skills – you can break down complex data and spot patterns. Good communication – you can explain technical insights to different audiences. Experience working with data in spreadsheets and databases. A proactive mindset – you’re happy working both independently and in a team. A keen eye for improving data processes and decision-making. Desirables (but Not Essential) A degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field. An Institute of Asset Management (IAM) Certificate. Experience with asset management software like Maximo or GIS. Experience working in the water industry or a regulated sector What can you expect from us?
