About the role As a Digital Platform Specialist, you will be helping to improve our Sitecore maturity, by maximising the inbuilt Sitecore Experience Manager capabilities. You will be the subject matter expert on Sitecore advising the organisation on capabilities of the platform, best practice for content managers and heavily involved in the pipeline of development work. In your first few weeks in this Digital Platform Specialist role, you can expect to: - Get up to speed with the BAU backlog, understanding the development already planned and working with stakeholders on prioritising new development - Manage the delivery of our BAU Sprint cycles, writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria - Be involved in UAT of the of the organisations strategic Sitecore upgrade project - Immerse yourself in the Sitecore platform learning the set up of the IA, components available, functionality used, 3rd party tools and data points that the system connects to - Help to build online water safety, campaign and donation journeys that deliver on our mission to save lives at sea - Get to grips with the Digital Experience team and our ways of working – we are a friendly and high performing team - Collaborate with our digital studio, performance & creative teams and our partner agency to build and manage engaging digital experiences About You To succeed in this Digital Platform Specialist role, you will need: - Significant experience using Sitecore Experience Manager - To be comfortable managing and prioritising a BAU programme of work, with impeccable attention to detail, managing conflicting stakeholder expectations and deadlines - Experience in using Google Analytics for analysis and interpretation of website performance, Google Tag Manager and OneTrust cookie management - An understanding of Kanban, Lean and Agile methodologies would be hugely advantageous If you have experience managing Sitecore, and are someone who is excited about driving forwards new technology capability, advocating quality control, with a pragmatic and calm approach to problem solving and a busy workload, we want to hear from you Safeguarding The RNLI is committed to safeguarding; protecting a person’s health, wellbeing, and human rights, enabling them to live free from harm, abuse, and neglect.
