The Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) Heating Surveyor will be responsible for performing in-depth assessments and surveys of properties to assess their feasibility for air source heat pump installations. This role involves working closely with clients, internal teams, and regulatory bodies to ensure projects comply with industry standards and regulations while supporting the advancement of sustainable energy solutions. Key Responsibilities Conduct on-site surveys and assessments of residential and commercial properties to evaluate suitability for air source heat pump installations. Assess and document potential environmental impacts of proposed ASHP projects, ensuring alignment with relevant environmental regulations and standards. Facilitate planning and permitting processes by liaising with local authorities and stakeholders to secure required approvals. Gather and analyse critical property information—such as size, insulation levels, and energy demands—to recommend optimal system designs. Work with clients and internal teams to produce precise technical reports, detailing survey findings and proposed solutions. Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices throughout the surveying and assessment phases. Promote sustainable energy practices and remain updated on advancements in air source heat pump technology to offer knowledgeable recommendations to clients. 2.8 Maintain comprehensive records of surveys, assessments, and project details to ensure consistent documentation and compliance. Support the planning, design, and development of renewable energy projects, contributing to cost estimates, system designs, and project timelines. Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in renewable energy, HVAC, or environmental surveying. In-depth understanding of air source heat pump systems, energy efficiency, and sustainability practices.
