Support Worker
Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for enthusiastic Mental Health support workers to work in one of our partnership Alternative Provision settings within Burnley. The role is full-time, Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm, working with several students on a small group basis with a teacher.
Interviews are to be held with the head teacher as soon as possible. The Alternative Provision setting would like someone to start as soon as possible, initially for 3 months with the view to be extended or go permanent.
The Alternative Provision setting caters for pupils from KS1 - KS4 who require a support worker who has worked with SEMH needs with children and adolescents.
Pay: £90 - £110 per day
As a Support Worker, the ability to engage and build rapport using your understanding of Mental Health and support background is essential. As a person-centred Support Worker, you will be a dynamic, forward-thinking, and proactive team player, with passion and commitment to holistically supporting the vulnerable pupil.
If you have worked or studied Mental Health and are interested in working in a new setting, this is for you! The SEMH setting is easily accessible with close links to the motorway and a large free car park.
