A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR DAY
As a Group Leader in our Field Service team, you will lead and motivate a team of Field Service Engineers. Your role is pivotal in ensuring field service support for Small Gas Turbines. You will focus on employee relations, day-to-day operations, customer interactions, global coordination, financial management, EHS adherence, and the implementation of best practices and strategies within your team.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Employee Relations: Motivate and engage your team, managing their welfare, performance, time management, and training and development.
- Day-to-Day Operations: Plan and utilize resources effectively, oversee field mobilizations, and handle escalations promptly.
- Customer Relations: Work closely with internal and external customers, addressing compliments and complaints, analyzing issues, resolving them, and implementing lessons learned.
- Global Responsibilities: Collaborate with regional counterparts to uphold and promote the Field Service strategy, including EHS, competency, and utilization standards globally.
- Financial Management: Manage the budget in alignment with business strategy and drive a cost-reduction approach.
- EHS Compliance: Actively promote Siemens’ ‘Zero Harm’ policy and monitor tools related to safe working conditions to mitigate risk and prevent loss.
- Field Service Strategy: Develop and implement Field Service standards within your team, promoting respect, honesty, and integrity, and adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and Siemens policies.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Educational Background: A degree in an engineering-related subject is ideal.
- Professional Experience: Experience in a large engineering company with some technical knowledge and a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential.
- Additional Skills: Project management experience and experience working in multicultural environments and multi-location projects would be advantageous.
