We are looking to recruit a part time Band 6 Occupational Therapist on a permanent basis for our AHP team at Castle Douglas Hospital.
Castle Douglas Hospital is a 17 bedded community Hospital that provides slow stream rehabilitation. The Occupational Therapy team provide not only inpatient rehabilitation but also community rehabilitation, either in the Occupational Therapy department or within peoples own homes.
You would be working within a well-established and very welcoming service. This service includes not only Occupational Therapy but also the wider multi-disciplinary team.
Due to the ever changing health and social care climate, this post holder may be required in the future to work flexibly within the context of working regular weekends to provide a 6 or 7 day per week service. There is also a requirement to regularly travel to different workplaces. This will be discussed further at interview.
