Position: CENTRAL LONDON SW1 + travel: Norland-trained Nanny (Baby 3 months)
Location: Central London (nearest tube station Sloane Square) + travel.
Description:
1. Role: Native English MT, formally trained, Live-in, Norland Nanny (separate private accommodation)
2. Start date: Anytime from January onwards (but in-situ by March 2025).
3. Compensation: Extremely competitive package (d.o.e).
4. Children: One baby, 3 months.
A lovely, kind-hearted family in central London is seeking a fully trained, full-time, permanent Norland Nanny to join them from January 2025. This role is shared care for a baby girl, 3 months old (b. Sept 2024), with occasional proxy parenting. Formal Norland training is essential, as well as willingness to flexibly support with additional travel and being comfortable within a pet household (family have two dogs).
Hours: 07.00 - 19.00, Monday to Friday, with an expected average of two nights babysitting per week.
The baby is in a well-established routine, and a handover period will be provided by the family’s current, Norland Maternity Nurse. The Nanny will also support the family’s travels, which include trips to Europe and the USA, so prior experience traveling with employers is highly desirable.
The family’s home is in a wonderful area of central London, with baby-friendly activities nearby, and they are in the process of securing a Purple Dragon membership. The ideal candidate should have a "can-do" attitude and will be organised, enthusiastic, loving and dedicated to creating a stimulating, nurturing environment for the baby. Typical nursery duties will be required, with additional supporting housekeeping handled by a Housekeeper. An excellent driver is strongly preferable with access to a vehicle during working hours.
The family are providing separate Live-in accommodation a brief 7-minute walk from their home. The new Nanny should expect to participate in a vetting process with the family’s security team as part of the process.
A very attractive salary package which will include the separate accommodation. Interviews are now taking place with a view to start early in 2025 (but the nanny must be in-situ by March).
