The department is seeking to appoint a Clinical Fellow. This is a 12 month post which is designed for a registrar, or equivalent, towards the start of their training in order to increase operative and on-call urology experience. The post-holder will be able to gain operative experience in general urological procedures, working within a busy cancer unit. The post-holder will be expected to run cancer diagnostic and follow-up clinics.
The post-holder will participate in a 1:7 non-resident middle grade on call rota, with prospective cover.
The provisional work programme is flexible and will vary from week to week. there is an example weekly timetable attached to the Job Desccription.
Duties other than those clinical duties specified will be in accordance with the Job Plan agreed between the Appointee and the Consultants.
Participation in audit/appraisal and CME is mandatory under clinical governance/GMC guidance.
All medical staff may be required to work on any of the Trust’s sites and across a seven day period.
