Position: PGA Assistant
Hourly rate: £9.50 to £11.44 per hour plus extensive benefits
Contract: 24 hours per week
Your day with the Golf Team:
* Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance the golfing experience for members and guests.
* Manage tee time reservations, ensuring an efficient and enjoyable flow of play.
* Assist with the management and maintenance of the range facility.
* Share your product knowledge to recommend golf equipment, apparel, and accessories that meet customer needs.
* Achieve sales targets by actively promoting and selling golf-related products.
* Ensure the golf shop is well-organised, visually appealing, and fully stocked.
* Support the setup and smooth operation of golf events and business activities.
* Handle stock with precision, leveraging your product knowledge to effectively cross-sell products and services.
* Maintain health and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for all players.
* Assist in the continuous development and delivery of our golf services, ensuring that both member and guest expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
What we're looking for:
* You have a passion for golf and a strong desire to develop professionally within the industry.
* You are highly motivated, focused, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service.
* You have the ability to work under pressure and demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
* Full driving license is required to be able to drive buggies.
This role includes weekend and bank holiday shifts, as well as adjustments to meet the seasonal nature of the business.
