Part Time Revenue Control Assistant - Yeovil - Circa: £24,000 FTE
Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a long standing client; a specialist services business operating across a number of industry sectors. The business currently seeks to recruit a Revenue Control Assistant, a permanent position which is offered on a flexible part time basis - 15 hours per week. The role will be based at the company’s headquarters located on the outskirts of Yeovil.
This will be an interesting role that would be well suited to a general Ledger Clerk or Accounts Assistant who would like to focus on revenue control. Working closely alongside an experience Company Accountant, the successful candidate will assume a number of key responsibilities to include:
- Monitor all aspects of billing activity
- Daily cash reconciliations across multiple income streams
- General ledger control
- Dealing with client and supplier queries
- Banking and reconciliations
- Maintaining and updating digital finance systems
- Ad-hoc assistance in other areas of finance
For this role we seek a focussed and methodical candidate, ideally (though not essentially) part or fully AAT qualified. Candidates with previous experience of revenue control practices are particularly encouraged to apply. The business utilises QuickBooks in addition to other bespoke digital systems so a good IT aptitude will be essential. The role works as part of a small and friendly team that thrives on a team-playing approach where good interpersonal skills are a must.
