The Laurels Care Home provides exceptional, person-centered care to our residents. We are seeking compassionate, dedicated Care Assistants to join our team and help provide high-quality support to those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support residents with daily activities, including eating, drinking, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, ensuring residents’ comfort and well-being.
• Assist with medication administration and ensure care plans are followed.
• Help create and maintain a safe and clean environment for all residents.
• Observe and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional health.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Key Requirements:
• Previous experience in a care setting is desirable, but not essential.
• A genuine passion for caring for others and making a difference.
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively.
• Flexible and reliable, with a caring and patient approach.
• Willingness to complete training and further qualifications as required.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
