You will be part of a multi-skilled team that is responsible for supporting the Utilities department. Responsible for operational improvements that will include PM & Spare parts optimization, improvement of maintenance procedures, and overhaul strategies. Duties & Responsibilities: Lead a team of engineers: work schedules, training, employee relationships, performance reviews, motivation initiatives. Own and lead the maintenance of the utilities department, drive the search for new, improved ways of working. Ensure effective communication and coordination across the utilities and reliability teams. Conduct root cause analysis, execute process adjustments, support operational issues and costs optimization Facilitate major CapEx projects and manage minor projects. Ensure compliance with UK and corporate standards, report to government organizations and complete site energy invoicing on time. Monitor progress against plans and adopt structured target-setting and performance management processes. Implement PM and PdM maintenance tools in the utility areas, manage SAP notifications/orders, and develop standards for autonomous teams. Who we’re looking for: Completed Engineering degree Expertise as a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer. Leadership experience within a technical services team, preferably in a supervisor or engineering manager role. Experience working safely in a high-speed manufacturing or processing environment within a maintenance department or comparable technical services team. Track record of delivering process improvements. Mechanical/electrical fault-finding skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment Desirable: knowledge of high-speed brewing equipment and machinery, batch process control systems, refrigeration systems, steam systems (including steam traps, heat exchangers, and associated controls), and compressed air plants.
