The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of students, developing their English skills and qualifications, and contributing to the development of the English curriculum. Key Responsibilities: Teach English to students at GCSE and Functional Skills levels. Assess and monitor student progress through effective tracking. Collaborate with curriculum teams to ensure timely and effective student progress. Counsel students and maintain discipline as required. Participate in student recruitment activities, including attendance at shows and career conventions. Contribute to curriculum development to meet changing demands and college planning. Engage in internal verification, auditing, and quality monitoring processes. Assist in the maintenance and sustainable development of resources and commercial activities. Attend meetings, courses, and events beneficial to the college and personal development. Promote and adhere to the college’s safeguarding and health & safety policies.
