As a key part of our IT operations, you will ensure our systems run seamlessly by providing high-quality technical support to users based at our HQ in Nottingham. Don’t hesitate, get your application in now!What you will be doing:Act as the primary point of contact for internal IT support requests, troubleshooting issues with hardware, software, and network connectivityAdminister and support Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, Teams, and OutlookManage user accounts, permissions, and security settings across Active Directory, Azure AD, and Intune utilising basic scripting and automation using PowerShellDeploy and maintain endpoints using Intune, ensuring compliance with company policies through automated configurations and scripted remediation tasks, and application deployments via IntuneSupport internal business applications, including IFS (ERP), Salesforce, and other enterprise toolsAssist in managing Windows servers for internal systems, including patching, updates, and performance monitoringMaintain and support network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and LAN servicesProvide guidance and training to users to improve their IT proficiency and self-service capabilitiesParticipate in IT projects to enhance infrastructure, security, and overall system efficiencyCollaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely resolution of escalated issuesUtilize ServiceNow for ticketing, incident tracking, and change management processes.Maintain detailed documentation of troubleshooting steps and resolutionsWhat we are looking for:Proven experience in an IT support or systems administration role, within a corporate environmentStrong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and IntuneExperience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Azure ADFamiliarity with endpoint deployment and management using Intune or similar toolsUnderstanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VPNs, and Wi-Fi troubleshootingExperience supporting enterprise applications such as ERP (IFS) and CRM (Salesforce) solutionsExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficientlyStrong communication skills with a customer-focused approach to IT supportAbility to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively within a team environmentExperience with ITSM (IT service management) systems for ticketing, incident management, and change management, ideally ServiceNowRelevant IT certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL) are desirable but not essentialWhy Microlise?Proudly Midlands-based, Microlise has been operating for over thirty years, and recently became a Publicly Listed Company with shares trading on the London Stock Exchange.
