We are currently recruiting for a shift maintenance electrician to work on a shift contract in the Cheshire area. The maintenance Electrician will cover maintenance, remedial and servicing works within the facility, including lighting, power and building services. The role is a permanent position paying up to 41k basic. The shift pattern is varied and will involve night working. 23 days holiday plus statutory, healthcare plan etc. Description Within the electrician role you will be working carrying out all planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across the facility. You will be working over a diverse site therefore a flexible approach is required as you will often be called to carryout or support works that are outside your core discipline. Duties & Responsibilities To undertake remedial works and planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical, control, basic mechanical and building fabric systems To cover all electrical distribution, controls, lighting, emergency systems, building services To complete PPM’s in line with SLA and KPI agreements To provide Electrical H&S and compliance engineering To undertake works on the power supply, lighting, power generation, HVAC, UPS, A/C units, etc To support the other members of the maintenance team with ad-hoc tasks across all disciplines including fabric maintenance For the lead role you must have experience supervising in-house staff and contractors plus organising compliance and logging associated documentation.
