The Role: To help us achieve our ambitions of a unified service company, serving the whole of the Blue Economy, we need a versatile and confident digital marketing professional to join the team. The successful candidate will help us to craft our digital footprint, supporting on the continuous development of our internal and external online presence and marketing activities, with a specific focus on the development of the Group websites. James Fisher has a powerful, lasting legacy to communicate to our customers, and we recognise that the website is at the core of our efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, monitoring, analysing and reporting on our Group’s website performance, bringing innovative ideas to the team to help us better serve our customers and improve website performance. This role will include the maintenance and continuous improvement of our Group’s websites, building and maintaining high quality landing pages, collaborating with Group Marketing’s SEO experts and taking ownership of the website user experience to better support us to deliver excellence to our customers on every step of their journey. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Assist the digital marketing manager in delivering new websites for the JFS portfolio, considering website improvement techniques that must be undertaken, focusing on SEM and UX improvements Development of A/B testing plans to drive growth across the Group and divisional structure, including landing page optimisation, improvements to accessibility and audience testing. Full administration of the James Fisher website and support of Product Line websites for content management. Monitoring the effectiveness of the James Fisher Group websites and digital marketing activities, providing insights for reactive and proactive future developments to the site. Collect, analyse and prepare feedback on website performance, identifying areas for improvement, and reporting technical issues to our development partner to find solutions. Development of our internal digital architecture through to the continuous improvement of our Group Intranet and associated applications. Further ad hoc support to the Group Marketing team as required. Skills & Experience: Experience of content management systems (CMS), Umbraco preferred but not essential Proven experience of digital marketing and website content management Proven analytical skills, UX and A/B testing essential Strong creative, organisational and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail B2B Marketing and/or business experience Excellent coordination skills required to meet strict deadlines This role forms part of an exciting development at James Fisher and presents an opportunity to participate in our transformation journey, playing a pivotal role in our Digital team.
