Orange Recovery Program
Fulltime Position
Position Summary:
Orange Recovery is seeking a case manager to work 40 hours per week. They will play an integral role in establishing and nurturing a safe, drug-free, health-oriented, supportive environment steeped in the culture of recovery. Orange Recovery is a transitional residence for men 18 years of age and older who are in the early stages of substance use recovery. We provide a lightly structured, drug-free environment. This supportive environment is maintained through 24-hour staffing and case management services.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Monitor participant progress and provide supports and problem-solving strategies to facilitate recovery and sobriety.
2. Write clear and objective case management notes, progress notes, and any other record keeping that may be assigned.
3. Assist with the development and implementation of individual goals.
4. Ensure that the client’s service plans are being carried out as written.
5. Coordinate and/or attend to activities such as physical and dental exams, psychiatric appointments, SSI and welfare appointments, legal advocacy, possible emergency family sessions, etc.
6. Conduct screenings with potential clients, work closely with referring agencies.
Qualifications:
1. CADAC/LADC strongly preferred.
2. At least 2 years’ experience working with substance addiction population.
3. Previous experience working in a recovery home setting.
4. Familiarity with community social, vocational, entitlement, and medical resources.
5. Group facilitation skills.
6. Open-mindedness with regard to multiple pathways of recovery. MAT-documentation and computer skills are required as part of the day-to-day job responsibilities.
7. Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
