Role Description :
Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking a Secondary English teacher to join the team at Mernda Hill Christian College. This Part-Time (0.8 FTE) Fixed Term teaching position is open to both experienced teachers and graduates, providing a fantastic opportunity to begin or grow your teaching career in a supportive environment. This role commences immediately and continues until the end of Term 4 (12 December 2025).
The focus of the Classroom Teacher is on the planning, preparation, and teaching of programs to achieve specific student outcomes. The Classroom Teacher will teach a range of students/classes and is accountable for the effective delivery of their programs. An integral aspect of the planning is to embed the characteristics and values of the Seventh-day Adventist school system in all aspects of learning and teaching. The Classroom Teacher utilizes critical reflection in order to improve knowledge and skills to better engage students and improve their learning.

Requirements of the role :
* Bachelor of Education
* Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching

* Position is subject to maintaining registration with VIT
