Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our wonderful team of Care navigators, who are the face of our practice, the first people patients see when they enter the surgery, so a friendly manner and good listener who is empathetic to patients needs. As a practice we do lots to boost staff moral by monthly challenges and team building exercises, social out of hours gatherings to thank them for all their hard work. Main duties of the job Job Responsibilities: Administration To have a thorough knowledge of all Practice procedures. To work in accordance of written protocols Filing post in medical records Receiving results/messages from the hospital and various source Reception Receiving patients consulting with members of Practice team Handing completed repeat prescriptions to patient and checking names and address. Be able to cover all reception position as necessary. Appointments Process appointment requests for today future appointments from patients by telephone and in person. Deal with visits requests. Dealing with general enquiries from patients Computer Scanning all documentation onto clinical system Process patients change of address computer data and medical records (have knowledge of Practice area. Process repeats prescription request in accordance with Practice guidelines. Entering any other relevant documentation onto clinical system Telephone Have working knowledge of telephone system, during and after hours. About us WE are a GP practice with just over 5000 patients in the Beeston area, covering a large demographics which includes a high number of elderly and vulnerable patients. Our staff consists of a Sole Partner, 3 salaried GP's, Practice Manager, and ANP, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 HCA's a clinical in house pharmacist, Reception Manager and an Admin team.
