This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from either our Bicester or Cardiff offices, where you'll be part of a friendly, supportive, and innovative team. Job Details: As a senior medical writer, you will provide guidance and oversight to ensure the high-quality execution of value communication projects and written deliverables. This role involves developing value and reimbursement dossiers, value stories, objection handlers, posters, slide decks, reports, and peer-reviewed publications. You will support technical teams and contribute to internal initiatives to improve HEOR working approaches.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Lead value communication projects and tasks, ensuring high-quality and relevant project materials.
* Manage and validate project deliverables to meet client requirements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional HEOR teams and subject matter experts.
* Mentor and support medical writers and associate medical writers.
* Contribute to internal training and development initiatives.
* Identify new opportunities for partnership building.
* Participate in internal and external meetings, including content development and delivery.
* Build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
* Contribute to proposal development and project pitches.
* Provide timely and relevant feedback to project teams and line managers.
* Ensure compliance with internal best practices, processes, systems, and SOPs.
Requirements
Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in a market access or HEOR consultancy environment.
* Expertise in creating scientific written materials, including abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and presentations.
* Demonstrable experience in managing projects effectively.
* Strong experience in identifying and developing business opportunities.
* Growing experience in building and maintaining client relationships.
* Line management and leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
* PhD in a science or health-related discipline, or a BSc or MSc in a science/healthcare degree with relevant experience.
