Job summary Clinical Teaching Fellow in General Medicine (ST3 equivalent) PLEASE NOTE - This job will close early once sufficient applications have been received. Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust are excited to invite applications for a Clinical Teaching Fellow who will support the teaching of undergraduate medical students. Post holders will be funded to undertake a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education. The post will suit a motivated medical registrar who would like to develop their knowledge and experience in the field of medical education. It is open to all but may be of particular interest to those wishing to gain both teaching and clinical experience before applying to higher specialty training, or those wishing to take a year out-of-programme (please ensure eligibility for OOP before applying). The job will combine clinical work (ward based medical registrar with associated on-call commitments) and protected time for teaching. The split of daytime clinical and teaching duties will be 60/40. This 12-month post is advertised as full-time but candidates wishing to work part-time or job share are encouraged to apply.
