A Production Coordinator is needed to work with a leading Automotive business that has been growing significantly in recent times - opening a new facility in the north of England and recently expanded their current facility in High Wycombe. Due to this continued growth, the company requires an additional person to support this growth.
The role would suit someone who has good problem-solving, organizational/customer skills and thrives in a fast-manufacturing environment. The key purpose of the role would be to assist with the manufacturing process of converting vehicles. The main purpose of the role would be to ensure that vehicle deliveries from clients, dealers & manufacturers happen in a smooth organized fashion, liaising with Fleet management companies (e.g., arranging the delivery of driver packs, fuel cards, etc.).
Responsibilities include:
* Populating fleet logistics reports and customer information such as build data and KPI information.
* Keeping track of any van damage and reporting this process.
* Populating the company planning system with information.
* Maintaining records in accordance with Company procedures.
Full training will be given in these areas; however, if you have had dealings with vehicles in some capacity, this would be advantageous.
Competency Requirements for the Production Coordinator:
* Educated to GCSE standard.
* A self-motivated person with a professional manner and methodical work ethic.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Current driving licence.
Key Duties for the Production Coordinator:
* Ensure timely delivery of vehicles to the workshop premises and to preferred vehicle convertor partner.
* Scheduling and notification of deliveries.
* Liaison with customers throughout the contract/order process.
* Populating information in the production planning system to enable accurate planning.
* Liaison with 3rd party suppliers to ensure all works are completed prior to the offering of the vehicle to the dealer/customer for delivery.
* Overview of any damage to the automobiles - reporting this to the system to ensure all damage is reported in line with the manufacturer requirements.
* Complying with company procedures, including the maintenance of accurate records.
