Could you make a professional contribution towards our school? The Council of Management are looking for energetic individuals who have both the time and the passion to support Elmfield in a professional capacity. Firstly, we need Education Oversights who will take responsibility for Early Years, Middle or Upper School or provide link oversight for specialist subjects. Working alongside Council Trustees, you would join our Education Governance Group where you will help to shape our Waldorf curriculum and develop the most appropriate and exciting learning experiences for our current and future pupils. In addition to Education Oversights, we are seeking individuals who can offer experience and strategic guidance in the areas of Safeguarding and Special Educational Needs. Both these departments have seen considerable development in recent years. If you have the skills and experience to help us build on these areas, we will welcome your input. Finally, we are seeking a business finance expert, ideally someone with accountancy or business finance credentials and relevant experience to support and challenge us in managing the financial aspects of the school. We have a new finance team, who would appreciate a committed trustee and director to oversee their work. For this vacancy you would need to be able to demonstrate ‘independence’ that is, an ex-parent, ex-pupil, a friend Elmfield or the wider the community being committed to managing any potential conflicts of interest associated to this role. You will also need the skills and experience to help us balance our financial realities with our ethos and values. If you are interested and want to play a professional role in supporting Elmfield please contact the Council Chair in the first for an informal discussion and more details about the application and selection process. Contact details can be located within the 'Apply' section; please log in or register to view. Please note that should you wish to apply for this role, you can submit a letter of interest via this advert. Although you may see a request to submit your CV, you do not need to do so.
