About the Role: Teach Media Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for teaching at Key Stage 5. Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities. Use a variety of teaching methods and resources, including film analysis, media production, and critical discussions, to develop students' understanding of media language, representation, and audience. Encourage students to analyze media texts, create their own media content, and engage critically with the media landscape. Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys. Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation. Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and stimulating learning environment. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice. We are looking for: A qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent. Excellent subject knowledge in Media Studies. A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
