An MEP Site Manager with a mechanical bias is required for a respected contractor in the construction and M&E sectors. This well-established company has been operating for over 30 years and generates a turnover of £35 million, working across diverse fields such as transport, healthcare, and education. The first project will be based on a prestigious site in North London and will run for 2 years so we need an experienced number 1 site manager to run this project. We can look at both permanent or self-employed for this project so if you have the experience, please apply. The project involves replacing existing roof plant systems, including AHUs and chillers, along with associated services like CHW, LTHW, BMS, fire alarms, small power, submain upgrades, and fume cupboards. You will be responsible for overseeing work in roof areas, service risers, corridors, and plant spaces while ensuring live services are maintained. As an MEP Site Manager, you'll work closely with the construction site manager and serve as the main point of contact for clients. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing health and safety across the site Supervising subcontractors and direct staff Providing daily site reports Reviewing subcontractor RAMs Delivering MEP design drawings alongside construction works Managing planned MEP shutdowns and service reinstatements Providing programme reports and updates To be successful in this role, you should have: A time-served background in a mechanical discipline or an HND qualification A minimum of seven years' experience in MEP site management Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Project A DBS check, SMSTS certification, and first aid training Experience with project management software (such as Procore), fire marshal training, BMS systems, and electrical/fire alarm systems is highly beneficial.
