Applications are invited from pharmacists looking for a new challenge, or those qualifying this year to join our band 6 to 7 pharmacist team.
Our well-established rotational pharmacist foundation training programme will give you the support you need as you begin your career journey in hospital pharmacy.
You will join the newly qualified pharmacist training programme on starting with us and gain a broad wealth of experience in various clinical settings including emergency admissions, respiratory disease, cardiology, stroke, cancer services, surgery, dispensary, and aseptic services.
You will be supported by an advanced specialist pharmacist in each rotation and will progress to a band 7 post following an appropriate training period and competency assessment, which will include studying for a postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy practice.
There will be the opportunity to study for a prescribing qualification or other postgraduate qualifications as necessary.
Main duties of the job
You will gain experience in various clinical settings including emergency admissions, respiratory disease, cardiology, stroke, cancer services, surgery, dispensary, and aseptic services. You will be supported by advanced specialist pharmacists in each rotation, benefiting from foundation level training.
We provide a clinical and dispensary service 7 days per week and an on-call service.

Qualifications
* MPharm or equivalent
* Registration with The General Pharmaceutical Council
* Postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy or equivalent
