As our business evolves, we are seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Manager to join our team on a 6-month temporary contract to provide essential support during this period, operating between our sites located in near Hurn Airport and in Christchurch. Our Software: BladePRO is a cloud-based Warehouse, Fulfilment and Logistics platform and has been designed and developed to control the whole fulfilment process, from inventory management to controlling orders across multiple E-commerce sales channels. As the backbone of our company, Blade IMS ensures our global warehouse locations operate at peak performance 24/7. The Team: As a team, we’re responsible for designing, building, and operating the services we consume from GCP, along with the software we run on top. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, whilst working in a friendly environment alongside other passionate software professionals. We are seeking an IT Service Desk Manager to oversee our IT Service Desk operations, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, and optimizing the efficiency of the service desk. The ideal candidate will bring innovative ideas and enthusiasm to enhance the IT support structure, prioritising customer service within the desk's practices and processes, and aligning with the dynamic culture of the Technology Directorate. The successful applicant will have a demonstrated history of effectively managing IT service desk operations, with experience in developing customer-focused environments. We are looking for a positive, inspiring, and credible leader who excels at energising and empowering team members while maintaining a service-oriented approach.
