The SEO Site Manager is responsible for developing and executing the SEO strategy for their allocated site/brand, and for the overall performance of it, in collaboration with the SEO Lead. The successful candidate will achieve this by leading their team to manage the website, increasing organic traffic and revenue, by way of information architecture improvements, content management, and SEO techniques. They will be data-driven and performance minded, ensuring projects are prioritised accordingly and optimised to meet KPIs. They will also have support from external partners (Botify, Pi-datametrics, Partoo, Croud).
Key Responsibilities:
1. SEO performance - owning, driving and optimising performance.
2. Delivering the SEO strategy - Work with the SEO Lead to develop the site's SEO roadmap and strategy.
3. Carry out keyword research and manage site technical issues to support SEO roadmap.
4. Team management - line management of the SEO Team assisting on the website, including: probationary reviews, 1:1s, ER and hiring involvement, performance management, engagement with Frasers Group annual performance cycles.
5. Reporting and KPIs - monitor and improve the site's KPIs and revenue targets.
6. Insight and opportunity analysis - highlight opportunities and developments across the channel.
7. PR Campaigns - work with the SEO Lead to deliver SEO link building campaigns.
8. Best practice - stay abreast of and contribute to wider industry developments.
9. Share initiatives, best practices and results.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Hands-on experience in an SEO-focused role.
2. Strong focus on the technical aspects of SEO.
3. Working knowledge of link building using various techniques.
4. Experience owning SEO responsibilities at a site that derives its revenue through consumer traffic.
5. Experience with keyword research and strategy, daily optimization, test plan construction, and in-depth analysis.
6. Experienced in creating and presenting campaign reports including ROI and conversion rates.
7. Strong understanding of web usability and site design.
8. A quantitative approach to traffic measurement, and experience with collecting and interpreting site visitor statistics.
9. Research skills to identify, build, and prioritise essential keyword sets.
10. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
11. Ability to self-manage and keep track of multiple projects.
12. Genuine passion for SEO and online marketing.
13. Experience with content marketing and social campaigns.
