We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Sport and PE to lead our Physical Education department and shape the strategic direction of sport across the school. This is a unique opportunity for an outstanding leader to inspire students and staff, champion physical wellbeing, and make sport central to the life of our school.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic leadership for the PE department, driving up standards and participation.
* Design and deliver a high-quality, inclusive PE curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
* Develop and lead an ambitious whole-school sport and enrichment strategy.
* Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship.
* Build strong partnerships with parents/carers, local clubs, sports bodies and community organisations.
* Line manage and support a committed team of PE staff
* Organise fixtures, events, and extracurricular clubs that inspire wide participation, in the UK and abroad
* Champion the role of sport in promoting wellbeing, engagement, and achievement.
