MTVH are seeking to recruit a dedicated and detail-oriented, experienced Rent Analyst to join our Service Charge Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all aspects of relevant legislation related to rent setting.
Due to the nature of this position, you will be customer facing and as a subject matter expert you will be involved with changes to policies and procedures, carrying out assurance checks, and coordinating rent-setting cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation related to rent setting.
Lead changes to policies and procedures.
Conduct assurance checks to ensure adherence to rent setting policies and standards.
Coordinate rent-setting cycles.
Personal Competencies:
Ability to work with high volumes of numeric data.
Analytical approach to draw conclusions and identify problems and solutions.
Ability to write detailed reports, specifications, procedures, user guides, and prepare and deliver training materials.
Thorough understanding of all relevant legislation and guidance related to rent setting.
Ability to train staff in an accessible way, minimising scope for misunderstandings.
Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and housing systems and databases.
Ability to develop and interpret complex reports and data.
High level of attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
