Teaching Assistant (SEN/SEMH) – Crawley A highly respected group of SEMH/SEN schools is seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team at their Crawley site from November 2024 or sooner. This is a permanent, full-time role, offering the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health difficulties. Key Responsibilities: Support students with SEMH/SEN in their learning and development Assist teachers in delivering a tailored curriculum Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment Provide one-to-one and small group support, ensuring all students have the opportunity to thrive Requirements: Previous experience working with SEN/SEMH students, ideally in a school setting Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with additional needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are desirable but not essential The school group offers a supportive and inclusive working environment with opportunities for professional development.
