The Pharmacy team at Pulse are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist in West Bromwich. The successful Pharmacist will be required to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 09:00am - 17:30pm (from July will be working 4 days a week - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. This role is available to start ASAP. Position: Clinical Pharmacist Banding: 7 Location: West Bromwich Hours: 37.5 Payrate: £28.00 - £34.00/h Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing About the role: In your role as a pharmacist, you will deliver an economical and patient-focused clinical pharmacy service. This includes the efficient distribution of medications, vigilant prescription oversight, and judicious prescribing practices to guarantee safe, efficacious, and prompt medicinal treatments. You will offer counsel and assistance on pharmaceutical care matters to designated specialty sectors. Additionally, as a participant in the STEP UP initiative, you will progress toward becoming an expert pharmacist within a specific clinical domain, assuming comprehensive accountability for the governance and enhancement of medication management and optimization procedures within that area. Essential Skills: GPHC registration. Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy qualification or proven level of equivalent experience. Experience of supervising / mentoring junior colleagues. Relevant Pharmacy qualification. 2 Years NHS experience. Duties: Provide expert pharmaceutical advice to patients and other members of the multidisciplinary team. Lead and develop relevant clinical / pharmaceutical audit and research. Managing and supervising the duties of Pharmacists, Pre-registration Pharmacists, and ward support technicians Work flexibly across 7-day Rota. Why work with Pulse?
