Director of Visitor Operations – “Visitor Attraction”
Salary: £90,000 - £100,000+

I am working with a great client looking for someone to help transform the visitor experience, drive commercial success and maximise net income from the high-quality execution of events that enhance this prestigious heritage estate in Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will play a significant role in overseeing daily operations to ensure exceptional visitor experiences across all areas of the venue. The venue's aim is to create a welcoming, informative, and efficient environment for visitors while driving the venue's commercial success and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team delivering exceptional customer experiences across leisure and business activities.
* Oversee daily operations to ensure exceptional visitor experiences across all areas of the venue.
* Develop and implement strategies to increase visitation, revenue, and visitor satisfaction.
* Collaborate with various departments such as marketing, curatorial, and facilities to coordinate activities and improve services.
* Develop and implement public programming, including educational initiatives and special events.
* Manage budgets, forecast visitor trends, and track visitation data.
* Implement and oversee customer service training programs.
* Oversee point-of-sale systems for admissions, retail, and online ticketing.
* Develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses and attractions.
* Address visitor inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively.
* Implement marketing strategies to increase visitor engagement.
* Develop and implement an ambitious annual events calendar.
* Manage conferences, weddings, filming, and seasonal visitor operations.
* Drive revenue growth and enhance venue reputation.
* Collaborate closely with the estate management team.
