Job summary We are looking for a highly motivated, autonomous individual to assist in the delivery of high quality nursing care to patients in HMP Standford Hill in support of a registered nurse. Is able to work unsupervised for significant periods. To undertake an extended role e.g. patient focused health promotion activities and programmes. HMP Standford Hill is a category D open prison. Opening hours are 08.00 - 16.30 Monday to Friday and 08.00 - 12.00 on weekends. We are a Primary Care service with no in-patient facilities. The prison is seen as an individual community where you will work with a variety of people and provide urgent care, routine health screens like a GP practice and complex needs care to the patients. Main duties of the job Responsible to manage the following clinics: phlebotomy, wound care, NHS Checks, smoking cessation, foot care, vaccination clinics, ECG's, hypertension and weight management.
