About the Business:
The Addington hostel has provided housing for men for nearly 130 years in Christchurch. Its a large hostel with up to 88 beds staffed 24 hours per day.
About the Role:
To provide onsite cleaning of the common areas of the hostel for both the residents and the staff spaces across three days a week plus relieving.
What will your responsibilities be:
4. Cleaning to a professional level of our common areas such as bathrooms, kitchens, hallways
5. Ensure that bathroom supplies to the areas are kept full
6. Undertake any areas of additional cleaning if needed such as bedrooms or apartments
7. Ensure you are undertaking infection control practices as per similar sites
Our ideal candidate will:
8. Have at least 1 year of professional cleaning experience at a similar site such as a Uni hostel, Rest home, School buildings, large office, hospital or equivalent.
9. Be able to demonstrate being comfortable in an all male hostel environment
10. Have NZ drivers license

The hourly rate for this role will be $26
