Job Description: Supply Chain Project Manager, Deeside, Flintshire. Manage work transfer activity between UK suppliers and Lower Cost Economies. Collaborate with business functions to ensure product manufacturing knowledge transfer. Support visits, ensure supplier requirements and production readiness plans are in place. Improve supply chain processes.
Responsibilities:
• Closely work with Supply Chain, Quality, Program Management, Engineering, etc. to ensure full product/part manufacturing knowledge is transferred.
• Support visits from LCE suppliers for business reviews, technical assessments, etc.
• Work with in-region team to ensure supplier technical requirements reviews, production readiness and first article flow plans are robust and in place.
• Support the improvement of supply chain processes throughout the business.
Requirements:
• Degree educated in Business Management related subject (ideally Supply Chain) or Engineering.
• CIPS or APICS qualified (preferred).
• Familiar with Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations and Production Planning concepts.
• Proven experience in project management detailing examples of full life cycle and completion success.
