The People & Culture (P&C) team at The University of Western Australia (UWA) plays a crucial role in driving operational excellence, enhancing the employee experience, and ensuring compliance with workforce-related policies and legislation. Within P&C, the Payroll & Advisory Services function is responsible for delivering seamless payroll operations, employee lifecycle transactions, and advisory services.
About The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Team Lead to drive and embed a culture of service excellence within the TA function. In this role you will:
* Oversee and guide a team of 5 Talent Acquisition Advisors responsible for delivering the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle across Academic and Professional hires.
* Utilise live and historical data & metrics to identify and drive continuous improvement.
* Monitor daily operational recruitment activities to ensure compliance with set policies and procedures.
* Develop and drive innovative sourcing strategies to attract, source and successfully hire high calibre candidates.
* Actively promote the Talent Function across the University by building and developing strong networks across a broad range of stakeholders.
* Lead on hiring Senior Management and Executive positions across the University.
* Provide support and guidance on best practice recruitment to the broader People & Culture team.
About You
You are a proven Talent Acquisition expert with a passion for delivering best practice recruitment to your stakeholders. You bring:
* Previous experience leading a talent acquisition team in a medium to large organisation.
* A passion for service excellence and driving continuous improvement.
* The ability to analyse and report on key recruitment metrics.
* Proven knowledge of the current recruitment market with a track record of building talent pipelines for hard to fill positions.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships across a varied stakeholder group.
* Prior experience using Talent Management & HRIS software.
