We are recruiting a Vehicle Assembler and Fitter at Driver Hire (Torbay) for our client based close to Newton Abbot. This role is perfect for those looking to grow their career in vehicle assembly, with the potential to transition from a temporary to a permanent position. Location: Chudleigh, Newton Abbot, Devon. Salary: £13 per hour. Key Responsibilities: Interpret mechanical drawings and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Proficiently handle various hand tools and pneumatic devices. Ensure quality standards are met in all tasks. Manage tool upkeep and workspace organisation. Fill out all relevant company documents accurately. Qualifications: Essential: Excellent communication and professional demeanour. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality. Ability to work well both independently and within a team. Desirable: Understanding of basic vehicle electrics. Familiarity with power tools and pneumatic equipment. Experience in manufacturing or production settings (training will be provided).
