Following the continued success of Tetra Tech (Europe) in securing a variety of new and interesting projects in the defence, education, and government services sectors, we have an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join Tetra Tech.
We are flexible on location, travel across the UK will be required.
Your Role
We are seeking a passionate Health and Safety Co-Ordinator who can demonstrate flexible, innovative, and diverse thinking, the role includes but not exhaustive:
1. Supporting the SSHEQ Business Partner in the delivery of services to internal customers.
2. Support the achievement of standards and accreditations for the business, i.e. ISO, CHAS, SafeContractor.
3. Conduct Accident, Incident and Near Miss review, analysis, trends, and closure of events logged on the Tetra Tech TOTAL reporting and other systems.
4. Working closely with teams, develop Learning from Experience (LfE) for significant events and share across the Operating Unit.
5. Support incident investigations as appropriate.
6. Support the creation of monthly SSHEQ Team reports.
7. Support the creation, review, and implement of policies, procedures, and guidance documents, streamlining and digitising where appropriate.
8. Be able to provide health and safety technical related responses to any queries and provide general, practicable health and safety advice.
9. Identify continuous improvement initiatives within both the SSHEQ Team and wider Operating Unit.
10. Support the develop and usage of My Compliance and other systems within SSHEQ and across the Operating Unit.
11. Deputise for the SSHEQ Business Partner as required.

About You
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
12. Experience of working within health and safety.
13. Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment legislation.
14. Ability to deliver to deadlines.
15. The ability to work collaboratively with the SSHEQ team to deliver results.
16. Comfortable working on an individual basis.
17. Good communication skills both oral and written.
18. Good practical knowledge of Microsoft Software, including Excel, Word, plus SharePoint and Teams.
19. The ability to meet client security clearance requirements if required.
20. Willingness to travel across the UK if required.
21. Professional and ethical in everything that you do.
In addition, the candidate will:
22. Have three years health and safety experience.
23. Hold a minimum of a NEBOSH certificate.
24. Hold a UK Driving Licence.
