Hours: 07:30am -5:30pm Mon -Thurs 07:30am - 4:30pm
Client: Established Commercial Contractor
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the construction of a care home in Nottingham. This is a fantastic freelance opportunity with a well-respected commercial contractor, offering 60 weeks of work on an exciting and rewarding project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing all aspects of the care home build, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
* Leading weekly programme meetings to track progress and address challenges.
* Managing and maintaining Health & Safety standards on-site, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.
* Coordinating and supervising subcontractors, suppliers, and the site team.
* Using IT systems to manage project documentation and reporting effectively.
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in managing care home construction projects.
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and their application on-site.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, capable of leading programme meetings with confidence.
* IT literate and proficient in using project management tools and software.
* A proactive leader who takes ownership of challenges and delivers results.
Qualifications:
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
* First Aid Certificate.
* CSCS Card (Black/Gold preferred).
