We are currently offering a remarkable opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a thriving practice located in Beeston, Nottinghamshire. Our newly expanded facility, led by an experienced branch partner, provides exceptional services to clients in the area. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned vets who are passionate about mentoring colleagues, including a surgery certificate holder with expertise in pet dentistry.
Situated just a few miles from Nottingham, Beeston offers convenient access to the M1 motorway and the picturesque Derbyshire Dales and Peak District, making it an ideal location for both work and leisure.

Role Responsibilities
14. Perform a wide range of surgical procedures
15. Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments and post-operative care
16. Collaborate with the team to develop treatment plans
17. Utilize diagnostic tools effectively
18. Prescribe medication and promote preventative care
19. Educate clients on pet care best practices
20. Provide guidance and mentorship to support team members
21. Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and regulations
22. Maintain accurate medical records
Your Skills and Experience
23. Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
24. Registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
25. Understanding of relevant veterinary laws, regulations, and guidelines
26. Proficiency in diagnosing and treating medical conditions in animals
27. Surgical skills for routine and complex procedures
28. Knowledge of anaesthesia protocols and pain management
29. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
30. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
31. Critical thinking skills for diagnosing complex cases
